With gutter cleaning season right around the corner we wanted to share some photos of an aluminum leaf strainer or downspout guard we recently pulled from one of our customers gutters.
We end up pulling a number of these from gutters each year. They advertise that they prevent clogged downspouts but often we find them looking like this and preventing anything from flowing through the downspout. This leaves the gutter channels full without anyway of clearing themselves.
